The Globe & Mail released more exciting information today about the Province’s draft energy plan:
“The draft plan obtained by The Globe also said the government would offer rebates of up to $20,000 to individuals who purchased a high-performance new home that doesn’t rely on natural gas or other fossil fuel for home heating or appliances.” (G&M May 28, p.A8)
Ultra-low energy Passive House buildings already makes good business sense; with incentives like this in place, there will be no more excuses for building in any other way.
